Letter for Boo

Dear M.,

You are the youngest child, the baby of our family. And though you may commonly demonstrate the classic spoiled behavior of a youngest child, you are also one of the most kind, determined, and brilliant people I know.

You have a big heart. When you love, you love fiercely and entirely. You don’t leave anything half-finished or half-assed (don’t tell mom I said that). You have a fighting spirit that keeps you going, making you at master at just about anything. You amaze me with the way you can easily accomplish anything. You never give up, and your unwavering effort has helped me learn not to give up too. Your strength makes me stronger.

I know that we haven’t always gotten along. I’ve been mean to you in moments of immaturity. But I hope you know even when though I’ll tease you occassionally, and sometimes seem like I hate you more than I love you, it’s only out of my duty as your oldest sister. That’s a valid excuse, right?

Probably not. And I’ve been working hard to only show you how much I love you. I want you to know that I’ll always be here for you. You are the one and only Boogies, my incredibly amazing littlest brother, and I don’t know what I’d do without you in my life.

Life will have it’s ups and downs, know this. But also know that I believe in you. I have faith that you will become someone great someday. Someone greater than you already are.

Because out of all of us, you have the most life in you left to learn, and the toughest spirit to help you through the hard times.

Though don’t forget you also have me.

I love you, Boo!

With love,
