The idea for this blog originated in the early part of 2013 with a plan to connect readers with enjoyable content and ideas. Though it has taken on many different roles and functions over the years, the original idea of this blog being a virtual space for creative minds to connect with quality content and express themselves has remained constant. Ten years later, I redesigned the blog and gave it a brand called Story Cafe Media, which I intend to function as a digital media company aimed at providing freely accessible content that celebrates the art of storytelling in a variety of mediums all in one place. 

I believe storytelling is healing—whether you're reading or creating the story—so I created this space to share with you. Whatever your needs and interests are, I hope you find something you like in our content library that heals, inspires, or simply entertains you. 

I also envision this blog remaining a space that is freely accessible for all readers—meaning no annoying clutter from advertisements nor any monthly subscription fees to access. I want this blog to be a place where you can relax, unwind, and enjoy quality content as you sip your favorite beverage. 🍵
