Synopsis:
In this novel experiment conducted by Kayla Mathys, each chapter is written and posted without any planning or editing. In other words, Catching Smoke is a true and raw first draft in the making. Since no planning is involved, the outcome of the story is yet to be fully determined, but the general plotline can be summed up as a classic cat-and-mouse mystery / suspense novel that revolves around the perspectives of two characters: Emma and Colin. Colin is a recruiter for an elite and secret government agency and has been tasked with recruiting Emma, an elusive, mysterious girl with an impressive skill set who won't be easily convinced. Along the way, however, they realize they may have a common enemy that will require them to join together to defeat. Will they be able to set aside their differences and personal motives to work together?
